THE STORY OF THE SINGLE ROSE

It has long been tradition to send one perfect
long stem rose to the one that you truly love.
The rose is symbolic of so much in life that
signafies love. The rose was singled out by God
to be the flower of the Christ Child...the rose of sharon.
It's petals as soft as the skin of the newborn...
It's bark so very slick that water and sins are
repelled instantly, preserving it's vaginal exterior,
as was God who became man.
In its' bud which form so tight..that evil could
not penetrate the precious petals.
As it begins its' opening ballet ..the petals
umfold to reveal the riches of its' hidden beauty.
Although He was born of lowly dwelling, the
manager there was hidden inside the mighty
power of the Savior. The Wiseman brought Him
gifts of frankincense, a fragrance so treasured
among men that it was the gift to a King.
So the fragrance of the rose is unique among
all other aromas. In the rose's fully opened
finale it reveals the crown worn by the Savior as
he walked the via dolo Rosa ( the way of the roses)
to His date with God the Father.
The red of His precious blood displayed in the
color of the rose. His crown of thorns pricked that
perfect skin releasing the droplets of the precious
liquid of life-giving power.
We give the rose, the perfect symbol of the
precious love, never to be given lightly,
or in vain; truly the symbol of real
unconditional LOVE.
